A Staycation In your Backyard

I launched Toni’s blog in October 2017 as a way to share helpful tips. I love sharing my interests and experiences on travel, health, and wellness! I hope you will find a little inspiration through my blog to go beyond your comfort zone and see the world. I don’t hold myself to any one topic of discussion, my appetite for exploration, and my travels around the world have allowed me to meet and learn so much!

Travel isn’t always about the long haul or long-term trip. It can be a staycation in Georgetown of Washington, DC, the first five-star, a five-diamond luxury hotel, for a few days away, or a month-long trip somewhere you have always dreamed of visiting. Whatever your dream or age, seeing the world broadens your cultural horizons and intellect, and it reboots you from the continuous grind of work and hustle. I love to learn and experience people, places, and opportunities to put my feet on the location where movies are made, like the movie Troy. It was filmed in Mexico and on the island of Malta in the Mediterranean. So in addition to the blue water beaches of the Mediterranean at St Peter’s Pool and the resort The Westin Dragonara in St. Julians, Malta, imagine indulging in an authentic fish pie (Lampuki Pie), and experience a tour of Ancient City-Troy, in Turkey.
