Travel essentials are a part of every trip; they can enhance the experience or ruin a trip if forgotten. What is essential belongs to the individual, but in this blog, I want to add some tools to your kit. This post contains affiliate links, which means I might make a small commission at no extra charge to you if you make a purchase. These items have made me feel more secure and comfortable while on vacation.
Silk Pillow Case - This is a self-care travel essential because it saves our hair from frizz, breakage, and split ends and is a skin moisturizer.
Tote - The right travel tote will allow you to be stylish and have enough room to pack all your needs. And when traveling with a carry-on only, if a tote is your "personal" item, it is more important. For more details on picking a tote, check out my article, "Let's Find The Best Personal Item Bag For You."
Earbuds - Earbuds are lightweight and fragile but are also easier to pack and wireless.
Collapsible Water Bottle: The collapsible bottle is essential because it's easy to pack, portable, and eco-friendly.
Toiletry Pouch - A clear bag will allow TSA agents to see everything easily without further inspection when putting it in your carry-on luggage.
Carry-on luggage - As a traveler, our luggage is the foundation for protecting material possessions, so picking quality luggage is very important for a fabulous vacation. I did a blog on "How to Choose the Right Luggage| Which is Better, the Hardshell or the Softsided Suitcase," here.
Luggage Cover - A suitcase handle could break, the suitcase zipper can come loose, the suitcase can come open, and your possessions can spill over the floor. Luggage covers are allowable by TSA as long as the TSA agent can open your bag.
Catch-All Tray - This flat-folding tray takes up zero space in your suitcase and keeps your small personal items, such as jewelry, glasses, and phone charger, all in one place.
Door Security - This vital travel gadget is about your safety from unwanted guests, mainly because many hotels use keyless entry.
Laundry Bag - A laundry bag helps keep the dirty clothes from the clean in your tightly packed suitcase on your way back home.
Bluetooth Tracker - The Airports Council International (ACI) says that as of January 2022, there are 1,950 operating airports in 185 countries. With that said, there are infinite reasons why your luggage can be lost, or delayed, so the one piece of comfort is the ability to track your luggage.
Hand Cream - Our hands dry faster than any other body part, especially on long flights due to low humidity. Quality hand cream keeps them supple and moisturized.
Fuzzy socks - Fuzzy socks provide comfort and warmth on a long flight. They're second to Compression Socks, which help with swollen legs caused by sitting for long periods. Both socks protect your feet from germs on airplane floors if you take off your shoes.
I hope you found something that will enhance your next vacation! Leave me a comment below and let me know your favorite travel essentials.
